Born and raised in South London, Amy Binns is an independent, self-taught artist and stand-up comedian working between physical art and live performance.

Driven by a fascination with popular culture, consumerism, and contrast, her work explores the tensions between humour and pain, chaos and control, sincerity and irony. Through comedy and art, she explores meaning in contradiction and everyday life.

You’ll often hear Amy before you see her… Bold, curious, tenacious, and relentlessly observant, she creates from her studio in Peckham, where she has been based since 2022.
