Born and raised in South London, Amy is an independent, self-taught artist.
Working mainly with acrylic on canvas, Amy’s paintings are centered around contrast and contradiction; oscillating between the “good” and the “bad”. Influenced by consumerism, popular culture and everyday life, Amy’s work is often bright, bold and graphic in style. By juxtaposing upbeat visuals with dark themes, Amy finds humour and irony in the mundane.
Amy is a tenacious, visual thinker with original ideas. She creates from her studio in Peckham, where she has been based since April 2022.
